Microsoft OneDrive

OneDrive replaces Google Drive, and eventually it will also replace the CforR U: drive and departmental drives.

  • OneDrive Web App – Similar to Outlook Web App, or Zoom, there is also a OneDrive web app that can be used from any computer without installing anything. nothing to install works from any computer or device with an internet connection. Just go to outlook.office.com and use your email credentials. You may have multi-factor authentication which occasionally requires you to also enter a code texted to your phone. Please remember to always select school or office if given the choice while logging in.

  • OneDrive Mobile App  – Available from App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android (use your phone to install these). Install and use login credentials and multi-factor security code if necessary.

  • OneDrive Desktop App  – Downloaded and installed from portal.office.com, or if you have a Meetings invite there will be a link to download the desktop app.  Like with other MS apps the desktop version is the most feature-rich Outlook app, but also the most resource-intensive, and complex. After downloading login as you would with the Web or mobile apps.
