A family member in recovery, Peggy is a passionate advocate for family recovery and wellness.
Her experiences include both substance use and mental illness. She strongly supports peer-based services and prior to working for CforR, she served as a volunteer. Formerly, the Family Program Coordinator, she became the Director of Operation and Special Programs in 2019.
Peggy holds a BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin, and coursework in business, prevention and substance use disorders. Prior to CforR, she worked in a variety of professions, including banking, property management, human resources (PHR), and as a certified teacher.
Married to husband, Kim, with three amazing grown sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law and a precious new grand-baby, she lives in Austin, Texas. Traveling, spending time with family (especially that grand-baby!), being outdoors, and relaxing with her cats, Sadie and Romeo, are just a few of her favorite things!
